Welcome to Museforvideos.com, a platform that provides free access to music for video creators. 

The site “museforvideos.com”, is a mediator between users (site visitors)  and music authors/licensors. Our role is to inform site users about the rights given by authors to music distribution companies, publishing companies, and social networks regarding the use and distribution of their songs. 

We have received approval from the authors/licensors to make their songs easily available for the users and to publish information about them. 

Before accessing and using our services, please read and agree to the following simple and straightforward terms and conditions:

General Provisions

By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website.

Grant of License

Museforvideos.com grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the songs available on our website for the following purposes:

  • Background music for videos on all social platforms and all formats (Including but not limited to Youtube (Videos,Shorts), Instagram (Videos, Stories, Reels), Facebook, Snap, TikTok
  • You can use the music available here for paid commercial projects, such as product endorsements, where a brand or brands pay or gift a video creator
  • You are allowed to utilize the music for any topic that is not prohibited by the respective social network’s policies. However, if such a video is posted, it is the responsibility of the social media platform to remove it.
  • You are allowed to use the entire song, in its original length.
  • You may also use parts of the song, as long as it does not alter the original song to an extent where it becomes difficult to recognize (too short).

 

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our songs for the following purposes:

  • Remixing or sampling the song to make a new song
  • Using the song in a motion picture or commercial ad for a product
  • Chopping and screwing, changing the pitch of the song up or down

Recognition Tool

If an ID recognition tool such as YouTube ID recognizes and flags the song, it is allowed and desired. This will result in the authors of the song used in a background earning a small fee in return for giving the song for free to the user.

Credit and Contact Information

While not required, we encourage you to credit the song used and to provide your valid contact information and a valid link to one of your social networks.

Rights

It is not permitted to claim authorship or add any additional music publishing rights or claims beyond what has already been acknowledged by the authors, publishers, and music performing rights organizations (PRO) involved.

Motion Picture, Commercial Ad, or New Song Use

If you wish to use the song from Museforvideos.com in a motion picture, commercial ad, or to make a new song, please contact us at info@museforvideos.com.

Term

This agreement is effective from the day of acceptance and lasts for 10 years or until digital platforms cancel song ID monetization, whichever comes first.

Limitations of Liability

Museforvideos.com is not responsible for any takedown requests from digital platforms, and we are not liable for any damages caused by using the songs.
